Nobody wants pretty shoes that hurt after ten minutes of walking. The main things I look at for glasses are frame weight, hinge quality and lens coating. Over the last months I noticed that some of my favorite items are not the most expensive ones.

They are simply the ones that fit well and survive many rounds of washing or daily use. People who share height and weight information make it easier to choose the right size. Sometimes I still make mistakes with size, so a friendly exchange policy is very helpful. I try to balance my budget between basic everyday items and a few special pieces.
